Hoorah! I now post here when I do the news. Awesome. I'm going to make sure to make more flashes of better quality. I'll get better and better you watch me. As for now...I need some ideas. Until then, later.

So I've more or less abandoned the idea of animating my story for the moment. I don't even want to attempt it until I get better with flash. I can't even make a preloader in CS3 yet. It'll happen, but not any time soon...not that too many people were at the edge of their seats waiting for it. D'oh well.

It's Gonna Be Sunny will happen...eventually. My mom's had foot surgery and I'm a bit preoccupied helping her out. And the voice work in this toon will be...awkward to explain, screaming idiocies and whatnot. Soon. Not now, but soon.

At least that's what I hear...

Taking flunking college way too well, I'm almost done with my first not-horrible flash toon. It's an animation taken directly from a dream I had in English class in 11th grade. It's one I'll never forget... At any rate, "It's Gonna be Sunny" is near the end of animation. Then I'll just voice it and that will be that. Screenshot:

I am working on a toon, but it's not going to be the story. That kinda fell on it's face. With all the voice work needed and the...kinda flunking college...I'm just going to do a series of little shorts. Oh well. Look out for 'em.

Currently working on a flash cartoon. It is my first big serious project, but it's slow goin'. All I have now is...the loading screen graphic. It's an animated and abridged version of a story I'm also currently working on. If you'd like some serious spoilers and a look at the graphic, go ahead and check my Deviant Art at timedawg.deviantart.com. 'Till then, peace.

So my friends Jake, Canada, Dylon, Juan, and I went to a concert called the Taste of Chaos sponsored by Rockstar energy drinks. It was pretty much made of awesome. It was a punk rock tour featuring bands from all over.

* Furthest from the Star - Opening act. Punk rock. Pretty ok. Singing was a bit...meh, but all around rockin IMO.

* Cancer Bats - Metal. Best way to describe this Canadian band. I got an autographed poster from these guys. Funny conversation between me and the lead singer ensued:
Me: Hey, how many other black rockers do you see while on tour.
Him: Not many actually, but I saw you. Helps that you're tall. Saw your hair when you were headbanging.
Me: Heh. That's why I got these (my dreadlocks).
Him: Badass.

* Four Year Strong - My favorite set. Punk rock to the bone. Having fun and kicking ass was pretty much these guys.

* Pierce the Veil - Least favorite. Hardcore emo band. Super high voiced lead singer. Not my cup o' tea. For what they do, however, they did it well.

* Bring me the Horizon - Screemo. That's all there is to it with these guys all the way from the UK. Jake loves that kind of music but it's pretty meh to me. Funny, after a really hardcore song with heavy guitar and crazy screaming, the song ended abruptly and the singer says in a very stereotypical British way, "Thank you very much." I lol'd. Soon after, he described our hospitality and "rockitude" as "fookin' taystee". I lol'd again.

* Thursday - Didn't stick around long enough to see the closing act. I've heard of Thursday, and didn't really want to stick around. The others agreed.

All around it was an amazing show. Saw a guy go crowd surfing...into a security guard. Got hit on by hot sorority chicks. Got rushed by a crazed Four Year Strong fanboy...multiple times. A security guard (older woman) commented on how "badass" my Zelda T-shirt was. I don't think I've used or heard more profanity in a single evening. I came away from that night with two things: an autographed Cancer Bats poster, and the knowledge that chicks are at their hottest when they're in a mosh pit.

Eh. Yo. I'm Adam. Or TimeDawg. Whatever. So I'm making myself a little blog thingy here on this site so more people can stalk me. What I'd like to say now is my Wacom tablet's pen is out of commission...halfway anyway. The eraser end works fine. Just not my drawing end. It sucks. Hard. Oh well. Once that little problem is taken care of, I'll work on a flash for you people to enjoy...you animals. Well. Whatever. I'm out for now. Peace.
